Mass Youth Voice is a youth group program for students who want to be empowered to have a voice in their community, state, and country, because, the youth of today are our leaders of tomorrow. Some students need help understanding how to be a leader in their communities. When they have been bullied by a system that doesn’t work to lift them up, they may develop behaviors that show their frustration because they don’t know how to voice what they want, need, or what they believe is truth. “MY Voice” gives them the tools to work together with other students who share the same visions.
The current group has decided to work on three initiatives: (1) leadership development; (2) bullying in their schools; and (3) helping the community become greener by reducing their carbon footprint, teaching their peers and their families and developing student led projects to help the environment.
