Welcome

The Associated Advocacy Center - Visions for the Future, Inc. is a minority run nonprofit (501c3) organization dedicated to ensuring a “free and appropriate” public education for all children ages 3-22. Our goal is to educate and empower our parents to combat the disparaging education and treatment that children with special needs and children of color face in our society through services, grassroots outreach, and community organizing. Our programs foster parent and student education and independence and connect them to identified community resources.  We include linguistically and culturally sensitive programs and outreach to our limited English communities.

Our organization is also instrumental in combating the “School to Prison Pipeline” phenomenon in our society due to “Zero Tolerance”.  We are proud to be an active participant in the struggle against this growing trend through coalitions; community activism and organizing.  Racism and able-ism is rampant within the constructs of our educational and juvenile justice systems, our organization sponsors community organized efforts to combat this truism.  Please review our calendar for a schedule of events. If you would like to help plan an event in your area, please call (508) 420-4356 for more information.

Our Educational Consultants, Toni Saunders, Vivian Leary, and Josh Arnold provide knowledgeable and research based representation at team meetings, mediations, and in court for: special education, discipline, suspension, exclusion, and expulsion hearings; as well as during juvenile court proceedings. We offer a full and half pay rate from our menu of services. Those families whose children are income eligible for a free or reduced lunch through the Federal Government “reduced or free lunch” programs, automatically are given the half pay rate, however other circumstances may warrant a fee reduction.

We look forward to working with you and your child!
